Before&after

Do you like looking at before and after photos? I do. Especially make-over before and afters. I love seeing a plain looking person turn into a new gorgeous person. I wish I had a before and after picture of me going from "frumpy mom" to "hawt mom", but I don't-because it hasn't happened, so here is a picture of my kitchen and what it looked like yesterday morning and what it looked like yesterday afternoon. Not a huge change, no new cabinets and counter tops or anything, but it does look different. Sometimes I take pictures of things before I work on them so I can see the difference when I am done. Corny I know, but it works for me, so I thought I would share.

GLooooRIA

I had to take my camera to church last Sunday for a project that I am working on for the bishop(i don't usually take my camera to church) and I loved this moment so much I just had to take a picture of it. I held the camera way down low and tried to be as sneaky as I could. I wasn't sure how fellow worshipers would feel about me taking pictures during a sacred service. shhhh-don't tell anyone.

tree wonder

Meadow has been fascinated with the tree. Her favorite place to be right now is under the lights.

turkey day

Even 6 month old babies should get a piece of the pie of Thanksgiving (or in this case a piece of the turkey).

I took these pictures on Meadows 4 month birthday and never posted them. what can I say, i have been a slacker.

Hallows parade

Did you ever have costume parades when you were in Elementary school? My school always had one. The parade would start with Kindergarten and they would go through a class room and then that class would join onto the end of the line and then the next class room we went through that class would join on the end of the train and it would keep going until we had gone through every grade and class room. When we circled back around to our own classroom we would sit down and watch the costume parade snake it's way back through the school until everyone returned back to their own classroom. Does that make any sense? It was nice though because parents could stay in their child's classroom and see the whole parade.

This was Peanuts first year being in school during Halloween, all of the other years she has been off track, so she was able to participate in her first costume parade. Her school has police block off a street for a few blocks and all of the parents surround the streets and watch from the curb. For sure a lot less confusing that how my school did it, but it was a lot more COLD.
Here they come, marching down the street.
Do you see Peanut? She is in the green coat. She is looking for me.
She spotted me. Here she is waving hello.

Here she is again, still waving.

woops, now she is passing me.......still waving.
She is Dorothy, just in case you couldn't tell :)

I was able to photograph my Nephew's homecoming group. It was a lot of fun, it brought back a lot of memories of my high school dances-whew glad those years are over.

#Millions of Peaches#

50 lbs of peaches = 8 quarts of sliced peaches, 6 pints of freezer jam, 10 jars peach butter, 4 peach smoothies, 5 lunch times snacks, 1 breakfast of pancakes and peaches, 3 breakfasts of peaches and milk, lots of deliciousness.

It has been a while since I have posted anything, I think three kids has given me a run for my money. Actually, I don't THINK, i KNOW. My house seems to never be clean anymore, I will clean one room and come back in 10 minutes and the room will be dirty again. I can't remember ANYTHING!I feel I am in a constant state of forgetfulness, super scatterbrained. Laundry is never done. Meadow only gets a bath maybe 3x a week,-my other kids were bathed every night-so if you hold Meadow and she smells like spit up--don't judge. However, I am soaking in every second of my little kids here at home. For some reason it has finally come to a realization that they won't be little forever and I need to enjoy them while they will let me.

Here are some random thoughts for you:
*I am experiencing major vertigo right now, to the point where I am feeling motion sick.
*I am getting my hair dyed dark today (at least I think, we will see what the hair dresser talks me into)
*I have great friends and family who always are so willing to watch my kids.
*Someone very close to me is headed to India soon.
*I will have been married for 10 years tomorrow.
*I have already bought my ticket to see New Moon in November.
*I am loving YOGA although I missed my class yesterday.
*Finley is enjoying pre-school. I am glad he was able to make it into a class with his two besties.
*I started a blog to keep track of our family's favorite recipe's, if you want to take a peek click HERE. (the wild rice soup is DELICIOUS)
*My camera is headed to India very soon.
*I have less than a month left of my 20's.

well, that about sums it up.

I photographed my first wedding last week, and it went pretty good. They aren't the pictures I saw in my head, but there are a lot that I am happy with.

{warm's my Heart}

I happened upon this moment the other day and I had to capture it so I would always remember it.
Peanut has read to meadow several times since and meadow loves it. She looks at Peanut and then looks at the book and starts cooing and kicking. It makes my insides melt.

:Four:

Someone had a birthday shout Hooray!
Finley wanted to have his very first birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese, we invited 4 crazy boys and one sweet little girl and one beautiful teenage girl (Finley's crush(thanks Elsa and Barb for coming!)). It was a birthday full of Transformers, bakugan's, and Power Rangers. My task was to learn how all those boy toys worked. It took an entire sacrament meeting to figure out how to transform 2 transformers :)
Chuck-E-Cheese festivities:

{school days}

I am a week late, but here is Peanut's first day of school, 2nd grade style. Have you noticed that the 80's are slowly sneaking their way back into style? Peanut asked for fingerless arm warmers to go with her back to school wardrobe-ahhhhh! next we know "units" will popping back into stores.

Roughing It........Kinda

Two weeks ago we spent the night at Heber Valley Girls Camp with some friends. Have you ever been there? It is such a fun place with great cabins that sleep 16, covered eating areas with fridges and campstoves, wonderful bathrooms with showers, and firepits. It is such an amazing place and perfect for those that like camping but are a little bit scared of the dark and what lurks around in the woods. The cabin doors have locks, which in our cabin, remained locked during sleepy time.

We had so much fun being with our friends and making new ones.

The trip consisted of........
One late night of Bananagrams (have you played it? it's a little addicting)
One show of singing in the rain performed by several little cuties.
One little boy with a bunch of girls.
Lots of hugs and kisses to a baby dressed as a kitty
One beautiful moth (which is a lot coming from me who is terrified of moths) doesn't it look like it is made of giraffe fir?
We had so much fun, we want to head back up in the fall and maybe in the winter too, Cache says they have great sledding hills.
