Boy or Girl??

Tomorrow is the big day, we get to find out what kind of human we are having. My bets are on a girl. I have just felt it was a girl from the beginning, but I could be wrong. But, I hope I am not because I have pretty much given away all of our boy stuff-at least the stuff Finley has grown out of. What do you think? I will let you know tomorrow-the appointment is at 11:40.

2009

We were able to spend New Years Eve with our good friends/traveling buddies (long live Cancun, Bryce, Deer Valley, Snowbird, and random outings) the G's or in Rockband language -Bob and Coco. They were visiting from D.C. and it was so fun to catch up with them again.

We stayed up until midnight playing Wiifit and RB2 and enjoying it the whole time! Can you believe they had never played it before or anything like it for that matter-not even Guitar Hero. We were excited to introduce them to this obsession."Bob" scored great on the mic, drums, and guitar-a definite jack of all trades.

Finley trying so hard to make it to the 12:00 chime. Unfortunately he only made it to 11:00.

While the G's were in town I was able to take pictures of their sweet little girl (this was the first time I had ever met her) Isn't she beautiful?I would like to make more traditions for holidays. Maybe Rockband will become one of our New Years traditions. I also have a friend that makes waffles at midnight-which sounds really fun. Valentines is coming up and we don't have any set traditions, Do You? I would like to hear about more traditions, so if you feel like it.......please pipe up and share.

During the Christmas break we took a trip up to the cabin to enjoy some snowmobiling, sledding, and relaxing (Okay, I enjoyed the relaxing the most).We are lazy sledders, we don't hike back up the hill, we catch a ride.

Here is Peanut and Finley's Crash and burn, notice Peanut on top of Finley's head.Woohoo, back in the saddle-they are some serious sledders-Although Finley is riding backwards.

Ahh-the proof of a face plant in the snow, or his sister landing on his face in the snow.Grandpa wants a turn, Finley decides he is done riding with Peanut.My turn to be the chauffer.My hot husband declaring that he is cold and wants Hot Cocoa.Peanut does not want to be done, but is a little hungry.

Christmas

I received CS4 this year for Christmas, I love it, but it has taken me some time to get used to it (which I am still not) that is why it has taken me a few weeks to get these pictures up. Here is what occurred at our house Christmas morning.Finley was so excited to get things rolling.

Peanut was excited about everything.

Finley wouldn't stop hugging everything, I think the next FHE will be that we shouldn't Love things that can't love us back.Cache lookin' good. (the kids gave him the pj bottoms for Christmas eve, what a good sport to wear them)

Christmas eve was spent together with our little family talking about the savior and preparing gifts that we will give to him this next year. There was also a yummy dinner (steaks), Martinelli's, funeral potatoes. and homemade french bread (and I wonder how I gained 2 lbs).
