We had a festive St. Patrick's day. I actually had some energy and motivation yesterday so I tried to make the day special for the kids.
It started off with waking up to a surprise from a visitor who left his mark all over the house.
And he played a nasty trick on us by turning our milk green. Peanut would not have anything to do with the green milk and whined and cried the whole way through breakfast because she did not want to eat her mini wheats with GREEN MILK!
Our little Leprechaun's gold must have kept falling out of his pocket and since we live on the wrong side of the rainbow his gold magically changed into chocolate -yum-.St. Patrick's day is not complete without our traditional Corned beef and cabbage meal complete with green Jell-o and Irish soda bread. And the leprechaun even left me a surprise in the cupboard......a box of girl scout Somoa's, ahhh my leprechaun must love me.
It was a fun St. Patty's day. It was fun to celebrate, even though we had some friends visit straight from Ireland last summer and they said they don't really do anything special for the day and they don't eat corned beef and cabbage :( oh well, we will stick with our Americanized traditions.

WOW, wow, wow!
I know this is probablly posted all over the web, but I was totally amazed by this girl's knowledge of the LDS church and I wanted to document it for me to watch again (and maybe again).

She's 7!
Guess who turned 7? It was almost a month ago, but I wanted to document it anyway. Our little Peanut turned 7 on Feb. 6th. She chose to go to chuck-a-rama the night(friday) of her birthday with all of our family. Her birthday party was the next day(saturday) and consisted of 8 little girlies, an hour drive to Heber, 3 1/2 hours of a cooking class in her great aunt's catering kitchen, and a lot of webkinz and high school musical pj's. It was a lot of fun. I hope she remembers it forever. Unfortunately I forgot my camera and was only able to take pictures with my mom's which she hasn't forwarded on to me yet. So some day soon I will add some pictures. And the last celebration of the weekend happened on Sunday when she invited some family friends from the neighborhood over to have sundaes and play games. It was a weekend of partying and worth every minute to celebrate 7 years with our sweet wonderful little girl.
