Makin' crayons.

Summer is coming which means more and more time to do nothing. Yeah, that is pretty much what happens at our house-absolutely nothing. I have found a lot of blogs to change that tough, there are tons of tutorials out there in the blogosphere and I plan to take advantage of them this summer. Our first project.....Crayon Making...... we used this tutorial and it was so much fun. The kids loved being destructive and peeling off wrappers and braking the crayons in half.

we LOVE doing these. Have you tried getting other molds? My favorite is shells and stars.

That looks like so much fun! Did you go to the fair? Jody's first Triathlon was Sarurday, so we were out of town. Looks like a good time, though. I do enjoy getting out and about. I am definitely not a stay in one part of the valley kind of gal ;). One of these days we should go to the Aquarium or something. Its nice to not spend $, especially with it becoming sparse, haha, so if you have better ideas, let me know (which it looks like you do!)

What a fun idea - I can't wait to try that with my kids. Tomorrow is the last day of school and I'm already excited for next year to start. Not that I don't love spending time with the kids, it's just that every day is so long and empty. We'll be watching your blog to see what to fill it up with next. How was the fair?

This looks awesome! Your pictures are so cute too! Good work here Carrie! We'll have to try this since I usually just chuck our short, stubby, worn out crayons that hardly seem of use anymore.
